Collaboration with Private Sector Business: We identify opportunities and coordinate collaboration efforts between the ITN partner institution faculty members and business leaders. Seed/Assistance Fund: This annual grant opportunity provides up to $10,000 in funding for faculty and students engaged in product development and technology transfer activities. The objective of the Seed Assistance Grants is to support projects that will lead to commercialization. Partnerships with private sector companies are strongly encouraged. Intellectual Property Consultation: ITN has established relationships with intellectual property professionals in the education sector who can assist partner institutions with intellectual property issues ranging from the definition and protection of intellectual property to the development of technology transfer agreements between higher education and industry. Working with our partners, ITN can provide the necessary staff resources and process support to assist your faculty members' IP needs. |

R&D Clearinghouse: Our organization is recognized as a clearinghouse of information on research and development (R&D) occurring within the ITN’s partner institutions. |

Networking and Workshops: We provide networking opportunities for faculty and students interested in entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology transfer. Session topics include the preparation of proposals, the challenges and opportunities of patents vs. royalties, and what CEO's look for in faculty partners, to name a few.
