Jennifer Hammaker Director Business Development
In November 2007, Jennifer joined the Innovation Transfer Network (ITN) as the Director of Business Development. In this role, she brings significant experience from her corporate, start-up and non-profit background. At ITN, Jennifer leads engagement with the business community as well as developing online content, new media, event planning and marketing. As a result of her leadership, the organization has expanded into new geographies and attracted national media attention.
As a business owner and entrepreneur, Jennifer’s creative energy has resulted in high profile multi-media publications and content featuring technology and innovation in Pennsylvania. Prior to ITN, Jennifer launched a cutting edge multi-media news platform and print publication, Yellowcakes Inc., which gained industry-wide attention at FOLIO’s premier publishing conference in New York City. Jennifer’s innovative media experience also earned recognition in the National Association of Female Executives’ (NAFE) quarterly publication.
Prior to launching Yellowcakes Inc., Jennifer was Director of the South Central Region of Ben Franklin Technology Partners; analyzing marketing and sales strategies and recommending funding for early stage and existing technology businesses. Over $1.4 million was invested in entrepreneurial companies during her tenure.
Jennifer’s achievements include winning multiple awards at MCI and AT&T where she helped build data and web hosting businesses; creating a 40-strong network of distribution partners for an Internet ASP in six months flat; developing the go-to-market strategy and Beta rollout for an emerging company in Washington D.C.; and devising and implementing an award-winning array of online services for the nation's second largest State Chamber of Commerce, the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business & Industry.
She is a former board member of the Central Pennsylvania Association of Female Executives (CPAFE).
