Description

We are having an informal forum for engineering-related faculty to offer an opportunity for faculty across the ITN region to meet their colleagues – and  exchange ideas and info.

While the topics will be familiar to Electronic, Civil, Chemical, and Mechanical practitioners and researchers – those with insatiable curiosity about all things engineered are more than welcome.

Location:  Millersville University, Roddy Hall--272 Laboratory, 1 South George St., Millersville, PA

    Time: 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm

    Speakers:

    Dr. John Wright of Millersville University – Robotics technology and semi-autonomous control systems--discussion on recent projects

    Mr. Mike Fiorill of Digital Indigo on mechanical-electrical controls, sensors, and devices--discussion on recent projects

    Mr. Thomas Ciesielka, Vice President Business Development, Aplus Mobile, ESCO, and President of the Keystone Chapter of the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), on development of a Center  of Excellence for Unmanned Vehicles in Berks County.

    This event is sponsored by Innovation Transfer Network, Millersville University, and NSF Partnership for Innovation (PFI).
