The purpose of the Innovation Transfer Network (ITN) is to connect business and innovation in Central Pennsylvania. Our goal is to increase technology transfer from participating institutions of higher education into the private sector.

A dynamic partnership among the region’s higher educational institutions, economic development organizations, business and government, the ITN is designed to drive commercialization of products and services into the marketplace.

The ITN provides companies with a gateway to interact with colleges and universities. Saavy companies of all sizes are working with faculty and students from across the region. They understand the economic benefits of enhanced product testing, reduced time to market, cutting-edge technology, and in-depth market research. Whether it's faculty consulting with CEO's, students working in the lab, or Centers of Excellence providing valuable product data, these relationships ignite new ideas and innovative thinking.

The ITN involves thirteen institutions of higher education in Cumberland, Dauphin, Lebanon, and Lancaster counties of Central Pennsylvania. To view a list of our education partners as well as our economic development partners, please visit our Partners page.
